Orange and black fused glass pendant necklace, artisan handmade jewellery

Handmade orange and black fused glass pendant, made by me in my little workshop here in France.

My pendants are entirely handmade and so there is only ever one of each design. The bail is also handcrafted by me from aluminium. I choose pieces of glass with colours and patterns that go well together, then I begin the melting process, shaping the glass as it melts and reforms. When the shape is to my liking, I let it cool. Once cooled, I reshape the pendant using a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. The piece is then polished and secured to the bail with resin for a very secure hold.

The materials I use include recycled glass, marbles, and glass offcuts sourced from the glass industry.
