Multicoloured Fused Glass Pendant Necklace, artisan handmade jewellery

A ooak, multi-coloured fused glass pendant, made by breaking a bigger slab of glass, which I had previously made with lots of colourful and funky nature inspired pieces of glass. These broken pieces of glass were then re-fused in the kiln into an original shape that I liked and then and ground with a grinder to make a smooth organically shaped pendant for you.

All of my jewellery is entirely handmade and so there is only ever one of each design, making each pendant truly unique and original. I choose pieces of glass with colours and patterns that go well together, then I begin the melting process, shaping the glass as it melts and reforms. When the shape is to my liking, I let it cool. Once cooled, I reshape the pendant using a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. The piece is then polished and secured to the bail with resin for a very secure hold. The bail is also handcrafted by me from aluminium.
