I created this pendant from an old marble, so it’s slightly less shiny than one made from regular glass. Since these marbles were played with, there may be traces and marks on the surface, as it’s crafted from aged, reused glass. The result has a grunge-like effect and carries a little piece of history around your neck—definitely a conversation starter.
Each of my pendants is entirely handcrafted, making them all one of a kind. I also personally craft the pendant bails using aluminium. I carefully select pieces of glass whose colors and patterns complement each other, then begin the fusing process. While the glass melts and reforms, I shape it to achieve the desired form. Once I’m happy with the shape, I let the glass cool. After cooling, I refine the pendant using a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. Finally, the piece is polished and securely attached to a bail with resin, ensuring a very durable finish.
The materials I use include recycled glass, marbles, and glass offcuts sourced from the glass industry.
Materials: aluminium, verre.
