Bold and modern, this unique pendant features layers of red, white, and black fused glass with abstract detailing. My pendants are entirely handmade and so there is only ever one of each design. The bail is also handcrafted by me from aluminium. I choose pieces of glass with colours and patterns that go well together, then I begin the melting process, shaping the glass as it melts and reforms. When the shape is to my liking, I let it cool. Once cooled, I reshape the pendant using a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. The piece is then polished and secured with resin for a very secure hold.
The materials I use include recycled glass, marbles, and glass offcuts sourced from the glass industry.
