This pendant was created from an old marble, by hand, in my small workshop in the Massif Central.

This pendant was created from an old marble, which I melted down and reshaped. It is therefore a little less shiny than a pendant made from normal glass and, as these marbles have been played with, there may be traces and marks on the surface, as it is made from old, used glass. The effect is a little grungy, and it's certainly a little bit of history around your neck - and a real conversation piece.
My pendants are entirely handmade, which makes each one unique. I also make the fasteners for the pendants in aluminum. I carefully select pieces of glass whose colors and patterns harmonize well, then begin the fusing process. Working the glass as it melts and reforms, I shape it into the desired form. Once satisfied with the shape, I let the glass cool. After cooling, I rework the pendant with a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. Finally, the piece is polished and fixed with resin to a clasp, guaranteeing a very solid hold.
The materials I use include recycled glass, marbles, and glass offcuts sourced from the glass industry.
