Fused Glass Pendant Necklace: Artisan Handmade Jewelry

I made this fused glass pendant from blue and green glass, which I melted together in a design I liked, in my kiln. The bail is also handcrafted from aluminium.

The pendant comes with a 50 cm cord necklace and a small polishing cloth for cleaning and shining the glass. This is then placed into a fabric gift bag then a kraft coloured gift box, ready to wear or to give as a present, the ideal gift for anyone.

My pendants are entirely handmade and so there is only ever one of each design. I choose pieces of glass with colours and patterns that go well together, then I begin the melting process, shaping the glass as it melts and reforms. When the shape is to my liking, I let it cool. Once cooled, I reshape the pendant using a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. The piece is then polished and secured to the bail with resin for a very secure hold.

The materials I use include recycled glass, marbles, and glass offcuts sourced from the glass industry.
