Fused glass pendant necklace, artisan handcrafted jewellery

I made this fused glass pendant necklace from turquoise and vanilla glass fused together to make this unique pendant.

My pendants are entirely handmade and so there is only ever one of each design, a true one of a kind idea. The bail is also handcrafted by me from aluminium. I choose pieces of glass with colours and patterns that go well together, then I begin the melting process, shaping the glass as it melts and reforms into melted glass jewellery. When the shape is to my liking, I let it cool. Once cooled, I reshape the pendant using a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. The piece is then polished and secured to the bail with resin for a very secure hold, making it a best neutral birthday or christmas letterbox gift for a variety of gender expressions, perfect for her or he.

The materials I use include recycled glass, marbles, and glass offcuts sourced from the glass industry, so each handcrafted piece feels unique and kind in its use of resources.
