Fused glass turquoise and vanilla handcrafted pendant with cord necklace. This turquoise glass and the vanilla glass are reaction glass - which means they react with each other when fused together in the kiln - that is the darker line you can see in the pendant whenever they touch.

My pendants are entirely handmade and so there is only ever one of each design. The bail is also handcrafted by me from aluminium. I choose pieces of glass with colours and patterns that go well together, then I begin the melting process, shaping the glass as it melts and reforms. When the shape is to my liking, I let it cool. Once cooled, I reshape the pendant using a grinder to remove bumps and sharp edges. The piece is then polished and secured to the bail with resin for a very secure hold.

The materials I use include recycled glass, marbles, and glass offcuts sourced from the glass industry.
